Key Points to Remember
- Result will be declared separately for the different posts for which IBPS SO 2018 will be conducted.
- The candidates who qualify IBPS SO Mains Exam will be issued Admit Card for the Interview Process.
- The Result once declared will not be altered unless there occurs a discripancy on the Boards' end
- All decisions made on IBPS SO Result by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Board will be considered final.
Result for IBPS SO Preliminary Exam: The result for Preliminary Exam of IBPS SO 2018 will be declared after the exam for the same has been conducted. The dates for Preliminary Exam for IBPS SO 2018 exam was 29th and 30th December 2018. Preliminary Exam is an important stage as it is mandatory for each applicant to take in order to jump to the Mains exam.
Result for IBPS SO Mains Exam: After the result of Preliminary Exam has been declared, candidates are issued the admit card for Mains Exam. The Mains Exam of IBPS SO was conducted on 27th January 2019. The result for the same will be declared after the exam is conducted.
Interview Process: After the result for Mains Examination has been declared, candidates who get selected are called for the Interview Process. The Interview Process is conducted to test a candidate’s Professional knowledge for the post he/she has applied. The Interview Process is a key step in selection of a candidate for the post of SO in multiple Public Sector Banks.
Final Result: The final result of IBPS SO 2018 will be tabulated considering the cumulative score of Mains Exam and the Interview Process. A merit list is prepared and candidates who make it to the merit list are offered the appointment letter by the Bank of their choice.
