IBPS PO 2019 Eligibility Criteria

A candidate is required to fulfill IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria 2019 to be eligible for IBPS PO 2019 exam. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/OBC/Ex-Servicemen categories are provided with age relaxation. The Eligibility Criteria as notified in IBPS PO 2019 notification is as below:

  • Parameters (Nationality)

    Eligibility Criteria

    A candidate must be:

    A citizen of India or

    A subject of Nepal or

    A subject of Bhutan or

    A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently in India or

    A person of Indian origin who migrated to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam and have the intention of settling permanently in India

    All these refugees or migrants must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India issued in their favour

  • Parameters (Age Limit)

    Eligibility Criteria

    A candidate must be:

    Minimum Age Requirement: 20 years

    Maximum Age Requirement: 30 years

    A candidate must not have been born before 01.08.1989 and not after 01.08.1999 (both date inclusive)

  • Parameters (Educational Qualification)

    Eligibility Criteria

    A candidate must be:

    A candidate must possess a minimum qualification of Graduation from a recognized University/Institute in any discipline

    A candidate must possess valid marksheet/degree certificates that state that he/she is a graduate on the day he/she registers for the exam. It should also indicate the percentage of Marks obtained in Graduation while registering online

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/OBC/Ex-Servicemen categories are provided with age relaxation. The category wise age relaxation is mentioned below:

Ex-Servicemen/Commissioned Officers including ECOS (Emergency Commissioned Officers)/ SSCOs (Short Service Commissioned Officers) who have rendered at least 5 years military service and have been released on completion of Assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 1 year from last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by the way of dismissal/discharge on the account of misconduct/inefficiency/physical disability attributable to military service 5 years
Person who is ordinarily domiciled in Kashmir Division of State of Jammu and Kashmir during period from January 01, 1981 to December 31, 1990 5 years
People who got affected by 1984 riots 5 years
Regular employees of the Union Carbide Factory, Bhopal retrenched from service (Applicable to State of Madhya Pradesh only) 5 years
